According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid have been offered the services of Lazio and Serbia midfield mainstay Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who is keen on leaving the Italian outfit this summer. Milinkovic-Savic has been with Lazio since 2015 when he arrived from Belgian outfit KRC Genk. The 27-year-old has evolved into one of the top midfielders in Serie A over the years, standing out for his powerful displays and goalscoring ability. To date, the Serb has made 294 appearances for the Italian capital club, scoring 58 and assisting 51 goals.

However, with two years left on his current contract, Milinkovic-Savic is now keen on leaving Lazio in the ongoing transfer window. The midfield powerhouse has been linked with who’s who of European football over the years, but a move away never materialised due to Lazio’s prohibitive price tag.
