Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been linked with a move away from the London club. According to Danish outlet BT, the 27-year-old Tottenham midfielder could be a replacement for Luka Modrić at Real Madrid. The Croatian international is on his last legs and the Spanish giants will need to bring in a replacement for him. BT believe that Los Blancos are considering the Danish international midfielder as a potential alternative. Apparently, they could shell out a fee of around £58 million.

Hojbjerg has been an exceptional signing for Tottenham since his move from Southampton and he has established himself as a key player for Antonio Conte. It seems highly unlikely that Daniel Levy will sanction the 27-year-old’s departure anytime soon. The midfielder has recently been nominated for the player of the month award and he will be crucial to Tottenham’s quest for silverware.
